In the dark of night, Mike pulls up to an old friend's house. He's surprised when she steps out, looking desperate. She explains she needs a ride to escape her abusive ex, who's waiting inside. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and Mike reluctantly agrees.
As they drive, his friend quietly sobs in the passenger seat, revealing she'd slept with the ex to get him to stop beating her. Disgust turns to curiosity as Mike thinks about what sort of revenge he could take on the dirty lowlife. A twisted grin forms on his face.
Finally, they arrive at a secluded parking lot. The ex, now drunk and belligerent, emerges from the darkness demanding his "property" back. Without hesitation, Mike drags him to the back of the car where he proceeds to put him in his place firmly reminding him of his actions.
